The Her Time To Play curriculum, created in partnership with the Women’s Sports Foundation, pairs on-court training with off-court life skills lessons to build girls’ confidence, prepare them for the challenges of adolescence and teach values like teamwork.
- Read Me First: Learn more about these resources and how they can be best utilized.
- Coach Curriculum (Introductory Level): This curriculum is designed for volunteer coaches or administrators teaching the game for the first time or to players at the introductory level. The on-court components have been designed so that players and coaches learn and teach the game in a natural progression. Each lesson will identify specific skills that players should learn and gain comfort in before advancing to new skills and drills in the next lesson.
- Coach Curriculum (Advanced Level): This curriculum is designed for seasoned coaches or administrators who have mastered teaching the fundamentals of the game and or have competitive to elite level players, but want to incorporate the critical life skills taught in the curriculum into existing team practices- leveraging it as a resource for team building and overall player wellness and development.
- Ages 10U - Fundamentals Stage - Participant Workbook: This workbook is designed to encourage interactive discussions and personal reflections with each girl ages 10 and under by helping them learn how to handle adversity on and off the court, and empowering them to face the challenges of adolescence.
